On 18th September 2021 Shelagh’s Sewing Circle became Crafting2gether and celebrated becoming an official charity.
Crafting2gether, who from April 2021 started gathering at the Dronfield District Scout HQ and Activity Centre for their meetings, are now recognised as a charity and we at the Dronfield District Scout Council wish them all the success in their future endeavours.
Over the 18 months, the Sewing Circle, now Crafting2gether, have been meeting as a group and when they achieved a landmark of 75,000 face masks decided to celebrate by creating the quilt. They’ve now created more than 77,000 facemasks and cut out over 464,000 pattern pieces!
Lots of ‘thanks’ and ‘support’ from well wishes, this is just the beginning for ‘Crafting2gether and we look forward to them continuing to develop and support our local community.
